What I'm tring to do is access a data base through vb with ado. I want to a access data base with the table tblLogIn and the fields and UserName and Password. I set up an ado connection can any one give me any help from here????

Well I have a question for you BetoVelasco. What are you trying to achieve with this tblLogin Table. You can as well show the user with a form that has User Name, PWD and the Database name [1.Could be written as a Registry entry and later read from there 2. Disabled Field]. Once the User clicks the Connect Button [on the form] you can instantiate a ADODB.Connection Object passing the USername, Password and Database as parameters.

Hope this helps...

Keep me posted
