Hi All
We have an application installed on a 2003 server which checks if the user has admin rights before allow the user to open it. On the shortcut tab, I turned on the "allow non-administrators to run this program" check box - which I presume is the equivalent of the RunAsAdmin shim ?? But even when a non-admin user tries to run the application, it still says the user must have admin rights to run it.
Have I mis-interpreted the check box ? Do I need to create a custom shim of some kind using QFixApp ? And is QFixApp even available anymore ? Or has the functionality moved to the Compatibility Administrator now ?
Sorry for all the questions
Thanks in advance
