for some reason after bootup it doesn't go to a user account login screen, it goes directly to my user desktop. I want to set it up so I can log in as Administrator OR my own account. How can I get it to show both accounts for a choice of either one to open at bootup?
Thanks,Jim

While there are tricks to get the Administrator to appear on the Welcome Screen logon, under XP Home this still does not permit the logon. An Administrator under XP Home can only logon in Normal mode:

Bcasner's link will explain why you Can't use the Administrator in Normal Mode.

If you want a choice then you will have to create two users and give them passwords, only one should be an Administrative account, the other a Limited account that you use for mundane things like surfing.

An Administrator under XP Home can only logon in Normal mode.

Talk about my brain and fingers out of sync..

An Administrator under XP Home can only logon in Safe Mode.

As my link suggested.

My apologies.

Thank you linney, I had not noticed the error previously.
