I configured a user for Notify Me, however, the email sent to his address failed, due to external issues, and generated Administrative messages to his voicemail box.
....I deleted those messages and turned off Notify Me so more Admin messages wouldn't be generated by failed email attempts, and changed his COS to not allow the "ME" features at all.
.... for the last 3 days, at 3:27 AM, an Admin message is being sent to his voicemail box indicating a failed notification attempt via email. I don't know what else to turn off... any suggestions??

it is the 5 day retry schedule in the MSS that is trying to resend the smtp messages. you can't do anything about it until it reaches the end of the schedule at this point. You can change it so that it will not notify the user of a failure in the future if you need to in the mail options page.
