I have a user that was set up in MM last August. Just this week, he received Administrative Messages dated June/July of 2011 and one from 2010. I went into the box, listened to them and deleted them - the system even said they were deleted...but when we go back in the box, they are still there and his light is staying on so that is driving him crazy. Anyone had this happen? We rebooted our MAS servers about 2 weeks ago as part of our 90-day reboot process. Thoughts?

A database was rebuilt and now the light is staying off but curious if anyone has seen "admin" messages show up like this before that were outdated? They were located in the inbox and removed.

(in MM for Exchange) Administrative messages heard in the TUI are messages sent by Exchange for things like NDRs, read receipts, etc, that are in the Inbox folder. They should have no effect on MWI unless their MWI was setup for more than just fax or voicemail messages. You could have a user that has been using Exchange for years then enabled for MM, then MM can read all the email in the Inbox which could be a few years old. It didn't just appear in the Inbox, as it may have been always in there.
