Hi
All my Hipath 4000 systems V6.0 and openscape 4000 V7.0 systems activated the administration block from year 2016 and in date the year shows 2010.
Any one can help me to get a permanent solution for this issue.
Thanks

Have a look at this thread for more information and a temporary work around:

It is important to note that the 4 listed commands get entered via Comwin (Expert Mode)and MUST be entered exactly as written and in the exact order written.

The most recent / Last release of V6 Rx also has a regular patch available for it, as does V7 R1.8.39 and above, and V7 R2. V7 R1.8.3 and below have a slightly more complicated procedure. All that stuff is also listed in that thread. You can also get the files you need from the links in the thread.

Basically what the temporary thing does is this ( I may not have the exact order):

Switch to a "test" database on the 4000 to avoid corrupting the customer database
Disable the ability of the system to sync with a time server
Change the system year back to 2016
Switch back to the customer database for normal operation.

At the conclusion of those steps you should regain your admin capability. The clock on the system will probably start out right, but will lose about 1 minute per week - people will see the time on the phone does not match the time on the computer and you will get sick of explaining it.

The temporary fix will have to be redone if you reboot the system or restart the assistant.

The only way to make the fix "permanent" is to apply the patch (or the MOP iv V7 R1.8.3 and lower).

It is not hard to install the patch - put the file on your PC (the MOP for V7 R1.8.3 and lower requires a higher PC geek level).
Go into Assistant and choose Software Transfer
Transfer the file on your PC to the system.
Exit Software Transfer and go into Software Activation.

WARNING: Installing the patch will cause downtime on your system for a reboot if you have a Simplex. If you have a Duplex the system will reboot the standby, then kick over to standby and reboot what used to be active.

If you have APEs you will then have to go into HBR (Hicom Backup and Restore) and do an AP Emergency Backup to transfer the new software to the APEs.
