Is there a way to check mailboxes without knowing the password? As an admin, I would like the ability to view mailboxes without having to reset the password. Not sure if there is a way or not. Any help?

By the way, we use MAS/MSS, not integrated with Exchange.

And when you say view do you mean hear the messages or just see how many are in it ?

I don't need to hear the messages, but I would like the ability to know how many there are, if possible.

Right now, if I want to do anything with a mailbox, such as clean out and forward messages, I have to change the password, and I usually use the web interface. I was just wondering if there is any other method I can use.

under the logs on the MSS you can run a user log and see how many and what type of messages are in the box.

But if you need to clean it out you need to have the password to it.

The MSS does have a superuser but you can't use it on the web client that i know of.

If you have a Linux guru around you may want to see if you can somehow backdoor it with the superuser or root.

You can use a 3rd party program that will use the superuser but that runs into $$$

The Subscriber Activity Log shows you the number of messages in the mailbox on the MSS. The List Measurements Subscriber also will show you the content of the mailbox through the GUI without the need to look at the Linux level.
