Hi All,

Maybe I'm just dreaming, but the iPhone can run software, it can access wireless internet, and it can make phone calls. Is there any reason it shouldn't be able to telnet into my INADS port on the PBX?

I have seen terminal emulators for the iphone, but they all connect through IP address (I don't know how/if it's possible to access a Definity switch through the web), not by dialing through the phone.

Has anyone been able to administer a Definity system through their iPhone? If not INADS, is there a way to get in through a web IP or other method?

Thanks,
barevdes

you would have to have a WAN IP that pointed to the LAN IP of the switch, and you would need to be able to change the telnet port to 5023, if it's an S-Series server.

The terminal type from a "DOS" session would be "W2KTT"

you could also use LogMeIn which is free and connect to a remote PC that has ASA running.
