Hi,
I am using Cognos version 7.3 with SP2 installed. I have created a new User class named "NEW" and added one of the users of the Admin User Class to this "NEW" user class. Then I deleted the the user Class named "NEW".
After that, to my surprise, I realised that the Admin user class was no longer active(although Admin had rights to open d-cubes in a limited range of libraries) and in the Analyst it was not possible to update Access Manager information to see the latest Acces data, because here again, all the buttons were inactive.
When I enter analyst the msgbox comes out, writing:"The user class granted administrator rights could not be located in the list of User Classes available in Access Manager. You should grant system administrator rights to a new user class using administrator screen". Then Analyst opens up with limited library rights for the admin user. All the users of the Admin User Class have the same problem. The user class is not recognised as a "system-administration-user-class" as far as I could tell.
I don't know how to do the granting mentioned in the msgbox. It will great to read a solution about this problem; because I have to fix it asap. I will be grateful to see your comments about this problem as well.
Thanks in advance
