Hi,

I want to get a complete overview about the security of our business objects. This means list of all users, folders, reports, ...

I did finished selecting
- all users (Select * From CI_INFOOBJECTS Where SI_PROGID='CrystalEnterprise.Webi' ),
- all groups (Select SI_ID, SI_NAME from CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS Where SI_KIND='UserGroup') &
- all folders (Select SI_ID, SI_NAME From CI_INFOOBJECTS Where SI_PROGID='CrystalEnterprise.Folder').

BUT:

How can I find out which group has access to which folder?

Does anyone know this SQL???

Regards,
Corius

You didn't indicate which version you're using, but assuming it's XI R2 you can download the Security Viewer from SAP and it will make this chore much easier.

I don't want an alternative application. I want to know how it works with admintools.

Yes it's XI R2.

Hi,
It cannot be done with basic SQL ( even in Query Builder) since the security info is part of a collection, not a directly accessable object like SI_NAME:
At the end of this older thread:

thread782-1219816

I listed a way to use VB to get the security info from the CMS

In particular look at the
Function ViewReportRoles (ReportID)

function and see what needs to be passed to get the data.
