Admin to access users' messages 1

As an administrator, I've been asked to monitor user messages from time to time as we are tracking possible spam/virus related messages going to certain user mailboxes.

Other than knowing the user's password or having proxy rights to their account, is there any other way to view mail messages? I wouldn't think so because that is why GroupWise encrypts their messages but thought I would try.

By the way, this is GroupWise 6.0

A third party app like surfcontrol would be able to do that.
