If you see Livelink slowing down, one tool you might want to use it the Thread Status Report.
enter the following in the URL for your Livelink instance
func=admin.threadstatus
That will yield a report that shows almost everything you want to know about performance and status of threads.
By running it on a regular basis you can also spot trends and use it to trigger actions. You also don't need to be the 'Admin' user to run it....;-)
