The IT guy at my work for some reason dissabled my screen saver option from the display of my monitor. When I right click on the desktop and go to properties, the only tabs available are Background, Appearance, Web, Effects and Settings. I do have administrator rights but am unfamiliar with Novell 5. Does anyone know where I go and how to change these settings? Thanks in advance for your help.
 
This is a windows issue not a Novell issue.
But, you may need to go to Control Panel/Add Remove programs/Windows Setup and reinstall the screen savers from there. The first thing I would do is find out exactly why he removed it from your machine. It may have been causing a problem somewhere else. Chuck

I know that this is not a Windows issue. I saw one time where he had Novell up and could dissable what people could see on their desktop. This is where he dissabled it. I just can not remember where exactly that is.
 
He would not have had "Novell up" as that is the company name not a product (application or OS). The only way that can be done with a Novell product is with ZenWorks. It is still a Windows issue, ZenWorks is just using the MS desktop controls. If that is the case your local Administrator rights have been circumvented. You will have to contact your System Administrator for help. He probably had his reasons....
