Hi All,

Do any of you know a change I could make to an image to allow power users to install printers? On some printers, you must be an administrator to install a local printer, even though the drivers are there. My users have XP SP2. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Theoretically that would be a local machine policy - the right to add objects.

So, check the permissions (assuming that the printers are shared on a PC or server) on the specific printers and make sure everyone ahs permission to do everything. That's the shortcut.
