My computer is running Windows 2000 professional, and I was recently locked out of my computer as the password to the administrator account (the only account) was changed. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what exactly happened but I think someone who visited my house may have changed it because it used to just be nothing. If anyone could help me by telling me how I go about getting on the account so i can change back my password this would be much appreciated.

Try this:
Go to this website-

You'll need to read the page pretty well and pay attention to the part using rawrite2 or the imagewriting programs if you are unfamiliar with making a boot disk from an image. There is also a boot cd image there, and though I downloaded it the other day and made a boot cd (with nero),I have not tested it yet, so I can only verify that the floppy boot disk works. I've used it to change the admin password on NT workstation, 2000 pro and 2000 server so far.
It's a linux boot disk that allows you to change the admin password. It took me a few boots to get it right, just pay attention to the questions that the boot disk asks, but for the most part I think it's already set all default answers properly except for the last question when you answer yes instead of no to write all the changes.

Enjoy! - it's saved my butt before, and poke back if you get stuck on anything.
