Admin password

set up our Win2K as single user.
installed MS Netbeui so it could see other boxes on a W98 workgroup.
set accounts in for the other machines.
rebooted.
voila: computer started up and i was logged in as one of the remote users, but with a blank password. looked into docs/settings, there's only 2 users there. THe other one is one I didn't enter. There's no admin account, the default user has no permissions...
shall i be trying that LinNT bootdisk hack yet?
or does anyone have anything simpler to try?
