Are admin passwords tied into license key? Can a new password be set if system (and new aloha) version was reinstalled. Specifically with ver 6 of TableService. Is there a way to bypass and reset password instead?
If you a referring to a user within Aloha Manager/EDC, yes it is possible to reset any password. It is not tied into the key in anyway. There really isn't an admin user per say, the backoffice security level determines the level of access for each user. An easy way to clear this password is to use a dbf editor such as DBFPlus, open the EMP.dbf file in the Aloha\NEWDATA folder, clear the BOHPASSWRD field for the particular user, and then save the file. When you login to Aloha Manager next, it will ask you to create a password for yourself.
