I have to change the administrator password on all my Windows NT4 servers. I havent done this for as long as I can remember and wanted to check if there is anything I need to look out for that might affect my Exchange 5.5 environment or any thing else for that matter.

Exchange 5.5 services run under the site-wide Exchange Service account, which has its own rules about password changes (for simplicity, don't).

Other than than, the administrator passwords on the servers should't affect Exchange at all, unless you have used these accounts for permissioning backps, or within the Exchange Admin directory tree.

Thanks ZB - a bit of reassurance was all I needed :)
