Hi,

How can I update the HACMP configuration easiest if the admin IP changed? Only the cluster has to be stopped, right?
Thank you in advance!

No, not persistent.
Admin IP changed, but "clstat -a" still shows the old IP. this should be changed somehow. I think through Extended Topology Configuration in smitty, but not sure. If yes, whether cluster has to be stopped?

I've been working with HACMP for some time but i'm not an expert in it so don't take what i say for granted.

but i beleive you have to stop and start the cluster for the change to be reflected

By now I am even not sure where should I change the IP in HACMP config.
AIX 5L is done, but I wanna let the HACMP know the IP change somehow.
"clstat -a" still shows the OLD IP for the admin interface.

You could try refreshing inetd

refresh -s inetd

Have you read the HACMP in FAQs? it may give you some pointers
