I've set myself up as an AD Admin, but when I log onto a computer in the domain it says that I do not have sufficient rights to do certain things. I thought that an AD admin would have those rights? Can someone explain this to me and tell me how to resolve it?

Thanks,

J

Verify that the Domain Admins group is a member of the local admins group. That's not always the case.

also if you have enabled a policy that utilises restricted groups then you need to add them back in as well as it will remove anyone not explicitly in group
