Admin account on NT4

Hello everyone:

When I install NT4, at very beginning, it ask me to set up an Admin account (I need to give username and password), is it a local Admin account? Can I use this account when I try to join the domain later on?

The admin account will give you admin access to the local PC. You will have to have a domain admin account or have a domain admin add the machine account to the domain.
