I'm trying to help a rookie who is trying to deploy a new cisco RV340
i told him when he logged in for the first time, make sure to change the default password
AFTER he created his own admin user name and password and tested it a number of times
after testing his new user credentials he misuderstood what i said on the main cisco admin account
and tried to change the main cisco admin user name
when he couldn't he just deleted it (i wouldn't have thought you could do that)
now he cannot get into the router at all
even with his new user
i had him do the 30-30-30 hard reset thats always worked for me
but its not factory defaulting the router.
i don't see any other way of trying to get in other than trying to get into the console port
any insight would be appreciated
