Hi
I'm trying to give administrators full access to roaming
profile directories. The default file permissions are as
you know full copntrol to user only. I know I can manually
change this but would rather automate it.
I found a Group policy setting (Computer Configuration,
System, Logon) - 'Add the administrators security group to
roaming user profiles' which looks like it should do the
trick but it doesn't appear to work.
Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this??
Many thanks
Jules
FYI - Have set up a share and hoime directories as follows:
\\server\StaffHomes$\%username%. Have removed everyone
rights from the share (and added Administrators) so that
users still have full control of their own subdirectories
but are unable to see any other directory in this share
but admin can see all.
The Profile directory is placed as follows:
\\server\StaffHomes$\%username%\w2kprofile
