hi!

i am new in Cognos ReportNet M2 version. Do you know that there have been administrator account in reportnet?

i don't know how to login from the browser?

Out of the box, reportnet does not validate against anything. If you get a logon screen, you're validating agianst something. What does it read in Cognos Configuration in the validation section?

now, I installed ReportNet into windows 2003 server. How can I set that the user can login the reportnet with user account in this win2003 server?

thanks.

yes. this win2003 server did not join any domain & did not build active directory.

how can i set the user can login reportnet through browser?

thanks

Check xs4citrix answer. By default there is no authentication. Open Cognos Configuration and under Security¦Authentication¦Cognos make sure Allow anonymous access is set to True. Save configuration and re-start ReportNet service. You should then NOT be prompted for a login
