Hi,

Was wondering if anyone knew the solution to this. Each of my phones has two intercom buttons. When a call comes in it is transferred (by a physical operator) to a user. Lets say the user gets a second call. When the operator transfers the call over, the user gets a ring while on his current call. Is there any way to reduce the volume of the ringing for calls when the user is already on a call?

Thanks in advance!

I do not know of away to change that volume, but you could use the call forward on busy setting.

Good Luck!!

thereis no way of lowering the volume for that second call, but it should ring in at a lower volume than usual cause you're already on a call.

Roldan/Executone,

Thanks for the replies. The user claims that before we switched (we recently had our MICS unit ??? changed because the old one died), his phone would ring less loudly on his second call.

yes, that is true, that's exactly how it should work. That's what I was saying in my last post. Does it ring at the same volume? Cause it shouldn't. You may want to check that out yourself, not that I don't believe what your user is saying, but I've had customers tell me their phone was doing something that it wasn't when I've checked. I just like to see these things myself.
