I am currently trying to create what I'm sure is a very simple animated sequence in Bryce 5, however I could do with some help on a couple of points.

The scene involves the camera simply traveling in a straight line, no other movements required other than travelling from point A to point B. Everythings ready to go, I set the animation to 12 seconds, move the camera to it's starting position, add a key frame, move the timeline to the 12 second ticker mark, move the camera to where I want it to end up and add the second keyframe.

I've previewed the animation, cameras moved as I wanted, all is good.

Now for the questions. I've decided that 12 seconds is too fast and want to make the sequence longer, e.g. 20 seconds. How do I undo the cameras current movements and rework to a longer duration?

Secondly, on watching the first preview the camera comes to a very abrupt stop. How can I have the camera travel at it's initial speed and then decelerate to a standstill at the end of it's movement?

Any help or advice will be gratefully received...

To remove the animation you previously set, you have to move to the point in which the keyframe was set, then use the minus button and remove the keyframes for all timelines.

To smoothen up the animation sequence you might have to put four points instead of two. It'd go something like this:

S-----S1----------------------------X1-----X

S: Starting point
S1: Acceleration point
X1: Deceleration point
S: Finishing point

Adjust the timing as you think is best. You get the idea of how it would work, more or less...
