ADIC Scalar 220 Not showing up as a library

I have Backup Exec V9 running on Windows 2003 server. Backup Exec does not recognize the ADIC Scalar 220 as a tape library. The tape drives in the Scalar are listing as standalone.

The Qualstar library I have install on the same machine is showing up as a library and working properly

Any suggestions?

What driver is being used for this device? Try getting an updated driver for it from Veritas. That might help Backup Exec correctly identify the device. Good luck!

Wanderii, check out this technote, it is very good, and should help solve the issue.

If it still doesn't work, I would suggest you have a hardware fault with the drive, cable, terminator or scsi card.
