I have 4 2002 ADP that I recently upgraded to 2003 and then made ADE files to deploy. We used to just give the users the ADP. Well, now that my users have the ADE file things that I haven't changed no longer work for them (they used to before I deployed the 2003 ADE). Does anyone have any help on this? It seems to be a problem somewhere in the deployment because the developing machine cannot reproduce their problems. The actual ADE works fine when I am logged in on my machine as well.

Thanks,

Rocco

Ok, got some more information. When the ADE is opened on the production machine, everything is fine. When It is installed on another machine, certain items are missing (a sub form here or there). Could this be an MDAC issue? What other files are installed on the machine by the setup?

You should check the permissions on SQL Server for the tables/views/stored procedures.

On the development machine, you use a certain user. Try connecting as the real people who are going to use the applications.
