I need to know if I can NAT with this router. It has an option of adding a virtual server. So I'm really pretty confused. I'm trying to setup an FTP server from my home machine if that helps. Thanks

Every router out there, no matter how cheap, does NAT (network address translation). Typically, most internal addresses would be in the 192.168.0.x or 192.168.1.1 range.
Check the IP address on your FTP box and use port forwarding to forward port 21 to that address.
