Memory
* Configured with 1024MB SDRAM
* 512MB (Min)/1536MB (Max), 512MB on-board memory with 1
available memory slot for 256MB, 512MB, or 1024MB PC2700
DDR 333MHz SDRAM 2.5V SODIMM memory modules. Both
slots may be occupied

* 1 main memory slot. May be occupied.

Various other sources say max memory is 1 GB or 1.5 GB.
Yet a manufacturer, 1-800-4-memory, selling on eBay:
offers a 2-GB kit.
System Information for this A75-S213 says Total Physical Memory
is now 1024.00 MB.

I've read quite few threads here.
suggests verifying maximum memory configuration with Toshiba.
says not to trust eBay, but that's been a couple years already
and doesn't mention a manufacturer selling there.
has a customer saying he received good service at
1-800-4-memory.

1.5 GB seems like a strange physical upper limit, but I
suppose it's possible.
Does anyone know how much RAM this A75-S213 can address?

Thanks.

Crucial UK gives the A75 series RAM capacity as 512MB(fixed) and 1 slot that accepts 256/512/1024MB.
It reads like the 512MB is soldered to the 'board and there's 1 slot for up to 1GB.

You could run a double-check from the Crucial home page, there's an ActiveX and a standalone scanner there that's usually very accurate.
