My question deals with the drop down links from the address bar (where some of the recently visited web pages are listed for easy return). I'm sure there must be a way to delete the addresses listed there (so those web addresses won't be visible anymore), but I cannot figure out how to do it.

Can anyone help me with the answer?

Thanks in advance.

Goto Tools, Internet Options, then 'Clear History'.

For Internet explorer, right-click on the taskbar, choose properties, click the Start Menu Programs tab and click the Clear button.

This deletes the following keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Doc Find Spec MRU
