I'm writing an address label and have used the Mailing Labels Report Expert. No probs so far.
My problem lies is the label usage; rather than have an address label for each record in the database, I am only passing a single record to Crystal and I need it to print the same address multiple times.
The Wizard/expert wants Crystal to be given multiple records to print on the label, one address per label, but as mentioned my usage is a little different. At the moment, Crystal is only printing the upper left label on my sheet of labels (2 across, 4 down i.e. 8 labels to a page).
Two questions, how can I get the report to print the same address on the whole sheet? Secondly, how could I get Crystal to print as many labels as I want - perhaps a parameter to ask the user?
My specific usage is thus...I have sales orders which users want the delivery address printed on labels as many times as there are items on the sales order - in this case the items are pretty big, they're lounges, chairs etc. Therefore if a customer has ordered 5 items, then 5 address labels are needed (lets not worry about the other 3 labels on the page which wont be used). Ideally I don't want the user to have to enter a parameter from Crystal asking how many items are on the order, I'd rather pass this info to Crystal but thats not really the core of my question, its mainly what I'm asking above.
