Hello guys/gals,
I been having a difficult time trying to get my MS Word, specifically the Envelopes and Labels section, to obtain contacts from my address list. There doesnt seem to be an import Contacts function, nor can I find a way to get to any of my contacts through Word (let alone insert them into a document). Ive checked MS online and the method they showed was easy to do but 100% ineffective.

I know that the drop down list is supposed to automatically contain my Outlook Contacts, but I'm just getting a blank dropdown menu. Theres no import function and no data, yet I have a full list of contacts.

Thanks in advance for your ideas/help.

Hi,

Tools/MailMerge/Get Data/Use Address Book.

Then use the fields in [Insert Merge Field] from the MailMerge Toolbar.

To get your Contacts to show in your Envelopes & Labels section when you click on the address book do the following:

Go to your Contacts list properties (right click on Contacts in the folder list and left click on properties). Under the "Outlook Address Book" tab and make sure that there is a check beside "Show this folder as and email address book" is checked.

Cheers.
