I am using Outlook, but I believe when you use the "Send to" option (when right clicking on a file you want to send), it opens up new mail message in OE. However, there are no addresses available. If I am in Outlook and choose "Address book" they are all there.

FYI, I recently began using a new user on Windows 2000 and have been having a lot of problems with Microsoft Office, so this just may be one of them. Any ideas on how to fix?

you mean, if you click "Send" button, it opens a new email?

then, reset the button.
Open a new mail ;
tools-> Customermize -> Toolbars -> Highlight Standard -> Reset button.

No, I mean when I right-click on a file in windows explorer and click "send to" it opens a new message in outlook express and attaches the file. That is fine, but if I click on the "to" button to insert an address there are no contacts listed. In other words, Outlook express isn't linked to my address book like Outlook is.

Hi dawnd3

In Outlook Express you need to Import the Address Book from wherever the other source is.

Just go to File/Import and choose Address Book and navigate to where the address book is on the hard drive. This should then import all the info from your original outlook address book into Express.

Hope this helps.
