Address Book email change doesn't change properly

I have this on a few machines now, where you change the email address of a contact in your personel address book, say Jo Bloggs from jo@bloggs.com to jo@differentemail.com then you type Jo in the To: send your email an it sends it to the old address jo@bloggs.com, its driving me mad!

Any ideas?

it the scenario is not the same as yours but could be down to a similar problem i.e. you have two copies of names.nsf, you're making the change on one version but notes is using a different version when addressing mails.

Yep that was it, I noticed there was about 10 copies.
