Hi

I have a problem where a website that I once saved in my Favourites list keeps appearing in the address bar. The problem is it still appears after I have deleted it from my Favourites. When I say "keeps appearing" what I mean is: the website address began with "C", and whenever I type the single letter "c" in the address bar the whole website gets listed, even though I have deleted all history and temporary internet files.

Is there some kind of check or search I can do in Windows Explorer to find out if some file has been automatically downloaded to my hard drive to make the address bar remember it? I have looked in my Favourites folder on my hard drive and I have confirmed it is not there anymore.

I know this is not a major problem but I am concerned if a file has been automatically saved to my computer (similar to a cookie) that I am not aware of.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Go to IE tools/internet options/content/look in auto complete and then clear the check for web addresses and hit clear forms...That will do it!
