Hello. A website was designed for a client, and after all the wrinkles were ironed out, the change was made to point the dns to the new hosting site. The web pages work ok at the new hosting site, except that instead of the address showing: http:// they all show: http:// server.hostingsite.com/~clientname/index.php...etc

This is the first time I have ever comoe across this, I'm sure it's something simple that I'm overlooking. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks, Click.

I'd check with the hosting company - perhaps they have a config page where you can choose whether or not you see the real URL or not?

Some hosts charge extra for this, some give it to you for free.

Hope this helps,
Dan
