Additional fields on Order Entry detail screen

I know I've kvetched about this before but I'm hoping for new ideas. I have a need to add 2 fields to the OE detail screen, but in screen designer I have nothing to un-hide and I can only add a single push-button under the 'special' tab. Currently I use the push-button to force a popup window, but I need something better. Does this limitation go away in a future version - we are on 7.5.103f - I would upgrade for this reason only. Thanks.

Up to 7.6.200, you will have the same issue. I know there are alot of enhancements with 7.6.300 but I'm not sure about OE database or screen changes.

I'm not sure what you mean by "force a popu-up menu", but if you are not already doing so, you can auto-push the button through Flexibility, so that you can have the user seemlessly add data to the user defined screen.

Please let me know if you would like the code to do this.

Since programming is a secondary responsibility for me, I'm always looking for better ways to accomplish tasks. I would very much appreciate it if you would post the code.
