Does anyone know if I have to do any programming to activate ADP port on keysets. I would like to use it to send and recieve faxes through my PC

We need to know what phone system it is, specifically, (What Vodavi System?. Model and version number if possible.

I'm pretty sure you need to have the 2nd pair of your phone jack wired to a dial tone that you want to use for your device. You also have 2 single line ports on your KSU, these are ports 148 & 149. So the 2nd pair of your jack could also be interfaced to one of them, and then program that extension to have incomming and/or outgoing access to a line pool.

The ADP port is nothing more than a line1/line 2 splitter built into the phone.

A cross connect hooks up to the 2nd pair at the phone system end and comes out under the phone (it is only a wiring path - nothing more)
