dotted_line_xfc66n.jpg

Hi,

I hope somebody can help as this is driving me mad!
Attached is the design view of a report, as you can see there is a dotted line between the FTE and Inspections Performed on Time columns. When I export to excel there is an additional column added between these columns, I presume this is because of the dotted line. My problem is that I don't know why the dotted line appears or how to get rid of it. I've tried resizing the columns and making them all the same size but this line still shows

Looks like it might be the cell border. You will have to check the cells both left and right of the line.

Highlight a cell. Right click the cell choose FORMAT CELLS. Click the BORDER tab at the top. Look in the Border diagram box on the bottom right side and see if there is a dotted line.

Another thing you might be able to do is highlight both cells left and right of the line, On the Home tab, in the Editing group, click the arrow next to the Clear button , and then do the following to clear only the formats that are applied to the selected cells, click Clear Formats.
