Hi,
The problem is that I am trying to set up a new PC and add it to a new Domain. However unlike all the other computers I have setup like this, this computer cannot find the Domain Controller- No DNS Entry can be found is the error returned.

Any help would be great!

Sorry forgot to mention the following:

DHCP is setup on the router (SMC Barricade)
WINS/DNS is setup on the 2003 Ent Server
2003 Ent server is setup as the main Domian Controller

All DNS and WINS entries are setup on both the Server and the Client computer. As well the DNS and DHCP are setup porperly on the router as well.

The XP Pro workstation can ping the server, but the server cannot ping the workstation but it is able to to resolve the XP workstations cpu name to the IP.

Thanks,

BIG D

It should work but anyway,
Create HOSTS file on XP pro machine.
