I currently have 6 registers and 3 workstations going thru novell server and wanting (wishing) to hook up 4th workstation. Problem is we had a computer company install all equipment, and unable to get same programmers due to leaving the company they were with.I have the workstation partially setup via programmer with same company, but unable to complete setup due to knowledge.I have 2 programs wishing to be run on this 4th workstation, and when i do, they stop running when ever the beast feels like it.When i have to re-boot, I loose my connection to the network system, and have to wait for it to find my computer.Where can i find some technical help, or information on how to finish hooking up my computer correctly?

What is the workstation running? if youare using any Windows 9x or NT/2000 client there is an option to clear the current connection. This will force the server to clear the physical connection when the server sees the login actaully the server is seeing the command "get nearest server").

Which client (OS and version) are you using to connect to the network and what version of NetWare are you running? Once I know this I should be able to help you "complete the install".
