I'm trying to add a Windows 2000 PC to another domain. Is there a way that you can add a Windows 2000 Professional PC to multiple domains? If it is possible can you tell me how.

Thanks in advance.

Only if you have a trust relationship setup between the domains. However, a computer can only be a member of one domain at a time.

Wasn't very clear. You can't join a computer to multiple domains, no. A computer can only be a member of one domain at a time. You can, however, logon to different domains from the same computer if you have a trust relationship setup between or among the domains.

It is not possible to setup a trust because the other domain is a seperate company that this person works for. We do not have access to the other domain controller to setup a trust.

Then you can't have the computer be a member of both domains at the same time, sorry.

I've heard of something called "Netdom" but don't know that much about it. You may want to try a google search and see what you come up with. I believe you may be able to use this in a batch file to switch between the domains.
