I am trying to use a WASP thermal receipt printer and cash drawer with Intuit’s QuickBooks POS. The printer seems to print fine but the cash drawer does not open. The hardware help says “use an "Esc p". In hexadecimal that is a 1B70 or, in decimal, it's a 27112”
Intuit was “extremely” uncooperative in trying to find a way to insert the code since they did not sell the hardware.
I have already purchased this hardware for a client to use with the Wasp POS software (they needed something the software did not provide)
I hope someone can help with a way to insert the code or establish an interface to make this work.
