We have several laptops with Vista Home Premium.
we have a HP 3600n printer which does not like the Windows XP drivers it takes forever to connect. I am connecting to the printer by going to the run command and typing in \\OurServerName
then when the printer shows in that box I right click it and click connect.
Can I add the Vista Printer drives to Windows Server 2003 somewhere so it will copy those driver files? I thought there was a way to add additional printer drivers on other Server versions but can't find it in 2003

Click on the server controller pannel
printers and settings
right click on the printer u want to install the addition drivers for click properties
then click on sharing

at the bottom there will be a additional drivers button install the drivers there

Ok I got there but there is nothing listed for Vista. Vista came after 2003, It has 95-98, NT, Itanium, X64 etc but it does not list Vista. Nor does it have an option on that window to add types of drivers. There is just picking one using a check box and an OK and Cancel button.
So I'm not sure how to add those to the list or if they can be added, Or if they need to be added.
What I did was load the drivers into the Vista laptops printers.
