adding two running totals

I am using crystal reports 11 release 2 and I would like to add 2 running totals together.
This is what I have:

Current Assets 879.96(running total)
Other Assets 963.25(running total)
Total Assets (879.96+963.25 here!)

Current Assets and Other Assets are both Groups and their details are supressed (thats were the numbers from the running totals come from) Thanks for the help!

If these are two separate running totals with an evaluation formula that limits them to the particular asset group, then you can create a formula to place in the report footer:

{#rt1}+{#rt2}

If this is one running total that resets on change of group, you need to add another running total that does the same operation but with reset set to "never".

Thanks for responding lbass, since they are the same running totaals I added another running total that does the same operation but with reset set to "never" and I'm still not getting the right info my data looks like this:

Assets
Current Assets
Cash 56,135.02
Accounts Rec 78,139.05
Total Current Assets 134,274.07

Other Assets
P,P&E 89,675.03
Derpreciation -5,893.09
Total Other Assets 83,781.94

Total Assets 567,139.87

My Total Assets is completely off, I did the running totals exactly the same expect that the one I want to total all the assets is set to reset never. Is there anything else that I could be doing wrong? Thanks for the response!

I'm sorry I got it by adding that running total...I was not putting it in the right section in my report to get the right numbers. Thanks for your response!
