I currentl have an MICS with 2 fiber boards. Board on left has 1 station module and board on the right has 5 trunk and 1 station module. Can I add a trunk module to board on the left or do they all need to be on the right fiber board?

Thanks.

Thanks Curly. I would imagine that I could then find in the installation docs the trunk numbers depending on which port of the left fiber board I connect the new trunk module?

You could go into Hardware/Show Module and show the port you used.
Then press Show and Show again then press Next to see the lines numbers.

If you used port 5 on the card to the right then its module 05 ports 0501 and up
Card to the left port 5 would be module 13 ports 1301 and up.

Trunk modules can only be added to the 6-port card in slot 2. Station modules can go in either 6-port card. You'll have to move the station module connected to slot 2 over to slot 1 in order to add another trunk module. Sounds like you might want to consider installing a PRI since there are so many analog trunks.

My memory faded me and though I had a couple systems mismatched, even the last 3 techs I asked thought the same but 2 out of 5 techs said it wont come up.

The manual states 3 PRI's but you can fit 4....so room for argument lol.

After attempting the addition of the trunk module I can verify that the trunk modules can only be added to fiber ports 3-8.

When you pull up the Hardware in system programming and view ports 9-14 changing to Trunk is not an option.
