The configuration of trays I need is as follow :

Tray 1 - free for casual enveloppes (the opening front door)
Tray 2 - 8 1/2 X 11 white paper
Tray 3 - 8 1/2 X 11 letterhead
Tray 4 - 8 1/2 X 14 white paper

The different HP on the network are :
HP4000 - HP4050 - HP4100 - HP4200 (about 100 printers total)

My question : Will I be able to make that configuration on ALL models simply by adding trays and configure them ???

If not, why and which model(s) are of concern ??

Thanks,

Michael

It sounds like it`s possible, as all the printers you mention can be configured directly on the printer via it´s own menu. Just set each tray up for the desired papersize (providing it supports the given media !) From the application chose printer and papersize when printing and NOT tray, as the printer will figure itself in what tray the correct media is located. Do check the FAQ about this issue if further hints is needed [wink]

Thanks Hpwizzard,

I appreciate your answer, but I guess my original question wasn't all that clear....

My main concern would be :
Are ALL of those HP models capable of supporting up to 4 trays (including the front door)??

Models -> HP4000 - HP4050 - HP4100 - HP4200

So far, I found that HP4100 & HP4200 are OK, but I didn't find this information on the other models.
