Adding Total Row and Columns within a Matrix Table

I'm having trouble doing this, although I would think it should be easy. I'm sure I'm just missing something.

I have a simple Matrix table that has date ranges across and product groups down. What is the proper way to include a total row and column? The online help indicated to R-click on the column header, then Add Total, then After. I have no such options.

I am using RS for SQL 2005 and the Report Designer.
