adding to RAID5

Can I add to a compaw hardware raid 5??? I have a 6 disk raid 5, but am running out of space, I have 2 free spaces in the server for drives.

yep no probs

slap the disks in

in netware - you load cpqonlin and then expand array

in microsoftie land run the array config - should be start programs compaq array or something like that and then expand array

make sure you expand the array and dont create a new one

with microsoftie land you will need party magic or suchlike though if you want to expand say d: or such like

netware just increase the pool and volume
